Easier Setup – For a quick setup, Simply Catan comes with 5 rows of tiles, printed on both sides (1×5, 2×4, 2×3). This design reduces overall setup time of the game while still providing enough variation to make for a different game each time you play. For beginners, the rules provide recommended starting positions. This allows new players to dive immediately into the fun of the game mechanics, without spending a lot of time worrying about getting started.

Faster & Simpler Game Play – Playing to 7 Victory Points speeds up the time to play. With Simply Catan, 30-40 minutes is all your family needs to get your “Catan fix”.

Room to Grow – All it takes is “just one time” of playing… and you’re hooked! We know that our customers will want to grow with their Simply Catan. Designer Notes:
Klaus Teuber was born in 1952, the son of a dentist father and homemaker mother. After receiving his Masters in Dentistry, he apprenticed for his father and ultimately took over the business in 1990. Klaus retired from dentistry in 1999 in order to become a full-time game designer. Klaus Teuber designed his first game in 1981, but the first published game was not until 1988 with Barbarossa und die RÃ¤tselmeister which won the prestigious German Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) that same year. Klaus continued publishing games on a regular basis, co-founding his own game company. Klaus has won the German Spiel des Jahres four times during his career. Additionally, he won the Best Children’s Game award twice, the German “Gamer’s Choice” award, and the Deutsche Spiel Pries (German Game Prize) four times. Tupperware? Schwans? Pampered Chefs? Melaleuca? I have to know what in-home consultants sell these!

I'm 95% sure these aren't the "adult toys" that they sell at Passion Parties.

Simply Fun is a company that sells board games through hosted parties, very similar to Pampered Chefs approach to kitchen goods. Their website is SimplyFun.com.

Wish Tanga would get a truck load of these and sell them here! It's difficult to see here, but the plastic pieces are the sculpt as the bits in the over the top 3-D Catan 10th anniversary edition.
