Wonderful! Very clear and concise.

Nicely done and lovely!

6 isn't what I thought it would be. Hints?

slow going for me tonight for some reason...can't seem to get any of the crossing words to work :o(

never mind. 21st. = P

stuck on 6 and 11

stuck on 11 here.

6 seemed obvious to me; I'm not sure how to help without just giving away the whole thing.

Any hint on 6?

It's obviously not the biblical phrase..... so what is it?

AHA! It's not about the person!!!

Got 6... had to go elsewhere and then it just dawned on me... I wasn't paying attention to all the details in the picture.

Still stuck on 11.

for #6: what are the two main objects (the person, and his focus)?
I'm still missing 9 & 11.

the guy in 6 might be at the library

Stuck on 9

on number 9, don't bother counting... the point is there are a lot of them

any solvers out there have a hint on 11?

9 and 11 seem to be tough. I'm glad its not just me

Jewelia, nice as always.

[15] You STILL haven't got that one???

;-)

For #6, the person's profession is important.

[14] Thanks. That was it. I was stuck on what they were doing.

[15] 11 was a song by the BeeGees, not sure that will help.

Got it. There are no waves or ripples in #11.

I'm stuck on #10, but I have a feeling it's because I've never heard of it.

Edit: Nevermind, vaguely remember hearing it at some point.

#9 Those hands are not idle, that much can be said.

[23] It usually gets here before I want it to

still drawing a blank on 11

[22] Indeed, but I had to get my shoes on for that one. Fun puzzle.

Nice one! #7 was good.

59th! Hey - I've never been under 100 before and now 2 in one night!

[26] See [22]. The mist, sun, and trees aren't important.

GOT IT!!! YAY! Thanks!

6 and 8 have me stuck still

[32] #6 he has a job to do but he shouldn't do it without looking past the surface.

#8 it might not be his for long

yes...duh........thanks [33]...now on to 8 (which no one seems to have had trouble with)

[35] #8: Hmmm... hard to salt without giving it away. I think it would be easier to read if the picture were flipped so the jester is on the left and the cash is on the right and slip a & between them. That get you any closer?

[35] What he is and what is his are important then look at [34]

[36] good idea. I hadn't thought of that

fabulous puzzle jewelia!

thank you [36], [37]....I was soooooo stuck on jester

Wow...I'm totally stuck on 11. Any more help?

[41] Did you see [22], [27], and [30]? You get 2 words from the picture, and the answer is 2 words.

[42] I just don't know what what the words are supposed to be I guess.

#9 #11 no clue, no hope ...

Wow, this was tough on some although all are common.

#11 the 'phrase word' is plural, not the 'clued word' needed.
there's two ways to say that one.

#9 those hands aren't 'clapping' but they are busy.
and there's a lot of them.

Had never heard of #9 before... I feel so illitterit.

Great puzzle jewelia!

am I the only one who can't get 7?

Total stupidity and a waste of time.

[47] To what are you referring? Surely not this puzzle.

J, what a fantastic puzzle and clever cluing!!

Nice one!

Wow... great idea, with clues that were excellent visually as well as functionally. I'm still stuck on #2, but I love the puzzle anyway.

EDIT: Got it, thanks to my sweetie... I can't believe I didn't get that one myself.

I got #11 with some help. Nothing was clicking last night. My wife was even helping and we were stuck.

Stuck on #2 as well. It doesn't seem to be in The World's Longest List of Chicken Sayings. :(

[53] It's on your list...but the answer here doesn't include:

're or ed

am I the only one stuck on 12???

Edit: Solved. D'uh I had it a little muddled around to start with.
