One of my least favorite forms of wordplay...but this was a lot of fun. Thanks, CC!

Looked at all the clues at least twice before the meaning of HEAPS finally clicked.
Very nice puzzle!

I got the first two, and then the theme kicked in with the title. Fun! (Although I still like Mixed Fruit better. ;)

[3] [13] #8: The arrow is not pointing to the device, but rather something on the device, if that's the right preposition.

That is what a hypercross should be. Excellent theme, vague at first, then the aha on clue 3, return and bust your brain when you get them all. Fantastic puzzle, extra points from me.

[17] Wasted almost an hour on this and still can't see anything. It's far more than vague and I don't think it's me.

[19] but the number of blanks you fill in are the same number of letters for the answer sought.... hmmm... what could that mean? Ah! Look at the title agan!

It's the fairness and helpfullness of the clues - and the fact that the answers are not random - that makes this one terrific.
Well done.

[26] pushed me in the right direction. I was working on a google search in that direction and almost was there but checked the comments first. It was a good puzzle once I figured out what was going on.
