Almost there...what's that with the monkey?

woohoo! 2nd!

I get it, but not everything fits in the spaces...

[3] You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours...which one stumps you?

all but the PDA/laptop thingy? anyone?

[4] Tangagram sent

[6] Back at you.

[4] Also sent you a gram.

I'm stumped on the first one. Any help?

i'm not getting the theme

[1] [9] No fair looking at the answers!

[4] They all stump me

Edit: Nevermind. I got it. I had the great ape one wrong - still not sure how I was supposed to tell where that place was, but luckily, I guessed right from the other half.

[11] Thanks! That got the last one for me.

D'oh! Finally got them. And all Tangagrams replied to.

[11] Thanks!

Any salt for the little PC looking thing?

I'm not getting this one either

this ought to be a real treat, I recognize the state I live in and no others, never have...any salt on a place to start?

looking for a place to start to?????

[17] Unless I've got my spelling off, that's the only one I don't know.

[20] Identify each individual picture. then see if anything clicks.

[17] [21] Looks like it's part of their FZ series...

If that's too salty anyone, let me know

[19] Try the seventh one by googling the name of city by the red star. For me, it was the fourth one that did it, although I didn't think it was correct at the time.

Any help for the ape? Specifically, the other part of the clue.

Wow, awesome puzzle, Aaron! I'm still chuckling :)

[24] I'd look for a city in a country with a real big wall. Don't make the same mistake I made of thinking it was once Raped.

Thank you [22]. I don't know how I ever would have figured it out w/o you.

[17][27] I actually had a hard time getting the state on that one, which is sad, because mine borders it :(

[22] Thanks! I don't think it is too salty, as anyone who knows the theme will probably be stuck at the same point. I guess maybe only naming the company, as opposed to the model might be less so, if you are worried.

I'm sure i have them all right but it won't accept

Any help with the theme?

i don't see how the title fits with the theme.... hard to salt for the theme without spoiling...

[30] Checketh thy Grams of Tanga.

[31][32] I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

[26] Thank you!

How is one supposed to know the place for the first one? I was curious, so I searched for that same picture but couldn't find it. Is there something obvious in the picture that I missed? What's the source of the picture?

[36] No idea where it comes from, but you can probably get it by using half of the monkey. That's where knowing the theme helps :)

The monkey was a killer.

[36] Do you have the theme? DO you know what the name of the critter in the second part is? That's how I got it.

The theme mystifies me....can anyone spare a pinch of salt???

[37] I've solved the puzzle, so I know what it's what it's supposedly a picture of. But the picture is intended to be a clue. I don't understand how that picture is a clue to any specific place. What am I not seeing in the picture that clues the place?

[40] I solved it, but I don't get how the title fits the puzzle. Each pair of images has something in common.

I have read the theme a number of times and cannot relate it to the ones I actually think I have figured out the answers to...which is all but 4, but that does NOT mean that I have clue about what I am doing here. 1-3-5-9 are still a complete mystery to me.

94th at 55 minutes...I have to say the laptop and the monkey are REMARKABLY vague. A neat theme, not associated to the title as far as I can tell, but the first one took a lot of salt. Once again Blahmcblah rides to my rescue.
EDIT - And its nice to see Canada represented. Welcome, Eh?

still don't see how the title fits the theme, but that first picture would be better if it was a roast duck or something else. I had to guess based on the monkey.

I agree that #4 is the easiest entry to figure out the theme here.

[46] It didn't hit me until #5 :/

Ack - just missed - and that was with a 1/2 hour out for storytime!

Wow...I am totally lost. I can piece together the common element in each picture, but what to do from there is a mystery!

[49] overlap

thus the title

[51] Oh, you mean the headache!!!

Took a guess at the monkey clue and got it, but I don't see how some picture that looks like the wild west is supposed to get me to the answer. No salt here ... just confusion (wild west was way off!).

By the way, thanks to [22] for confirming my guess at the little PC picture.

the jewish one and the black-red-yellow flag one are both stumping me. I know the country that the flag represents, but can't make it fit with the only thing I know to call the other part... which also doesn't fit with the one it crosses. With the Jewish one, I know the state... but have no idea what the jewish symbolism is supposed to mean.

[50] Thanks for the help. I went to Baskin Robbins tonight. So between that and what I thought was the theme, I spent way too long trying to get ice cream names from the clues.

[54] I'd love to invite you to my Seder and explain :P
You don't get that nativity scene? Were you born in a barn? :)

for those of you who missed the significance of the title, when you eat an ice cream cone you lap it. to do this with excessive zeal is to overlap

[57] I rarely lap ice cream :( I thought it was like "I scream = ice cream." Not exactly the same, but similar...

If you Google Image Search <x>, where <x> is the thing being clued by that vague picture above the monkey, you get the picture in the first page of results. But, like Philana, I don't know how you can possibly get from the picture to <x>; you might as well have just left it blank, given that the only way to get it was to work backwards from the monkey.

(Perhaps a picture of duck?)

Feel free to Tangagram me explaining the title, as well.

[59] Ooh, good one. I liked my salt in [26] that everyone ignores :(

[57] I was going to ask about that. :)

[54] It relates to a special day.

[54] Google the words written on the thing in the picture of the Jewish one. As far as the black-red-yellow one, someone was away in the first pic.

[56]thanks. and so what if I was born in a barn? you wanna make somethin' of it? :) I was looking at it as a whole... not one specific part within.
