The quality of some of these pictures is pretty bad -- especially #8.

OK, I've been staring at this for 15 minutes and I might have 1 answer. Guess I'll try later...

Definitely need to suggest that larger images be made available
These were obviously small and then expanded by the system to fill the available space.

For 8 I was thinking the band velvet underground, but I don't have a theme yet, so I am guessing not.

Hey, everyone! Just got home and found out they published my hyper. My first attempt at one. I did test it before submitting it, but 2 words ended up slightly out of alignment. I've fixed that. Very sorry!
As far as the theme....I think [7] meant to say WORD, not LETTER. :D

[17] - No, I had the theme. I was referring to the fact that the grid wasn't aligned properly, but it has been fixed...

[19] Oh, sorry...thought you were referring to the theme. :D
And yes, I fixed them. Think they got messed up when I edited another clue.

Ummm....there was a different title when I started this puzzle, but one of my test solvers suggested I change it because it was too obvious.

[27] Hah. I was making that way less obvious. "G.O.P" just didn't fit, no matter how I counted it. :-P Thanks!

Philana,
Thanks for your help.
The missing "IS" in the last clue really makes the difference!
got all the answers
still don't have the theme... unless it's just the common word
I found this puzzle to be very frustrating. Maybe I'm just grouchy tonight (not salt)

was anyone else having problems posting a comment with carriage returns in it once a clue had been selected?
my window's focus would jump to a clue if I hit "enter" while writing my comment. This is true even after solving the puzzle...

I'll apologize for the image quality. They looked fine on my screen before I uploaded. And they looked fine when I was editing. But they don't look so good right now. I'm trying to fix them, but this may take some time. Sorry, folks!

Yes, clue #6 is intentionally left blank. Once you have the theme, you should know what goes in there.
