[22] [25] Me too. I just can't find a misspelling anywhere. Looking for alternate spellings for things gave me the information that #5 is also known as a "splat", which is rather cool to know but doesn't get me anywhere.

#1, 4, and 6 are different in the US.
In fact, in the US, the clue on 4 actually IS the answer to 1!

took me a minute to sort out the theme. Then once I got that it was smooth sailing except for those that were wrong on my version. good puzzle and not too hard even with the variations.

Wow. The smugness in the first post is certainly not supported by reality. Flat-out incorrect in more that one instance, and certainly not US-friendly (not that that is mandatory, but it was claimed to be).
