Spelling checked 5-11-08
Since Part 1 narrows down the theme, degree of difficulty is raised by 1. Good Luck!

[1] Yeah, I thought that would make it easier to figure out the theme here, but so far, I am drawing a blank
Edit: sheesh; took me to the last clue to pick up which one we are talking about this time!

[33] I don't know for sure because I haven't solved it, but I think it has more to do with the location than any object in the picture.
Any salt for #17? It hurts my eyes to look at it too long.

I liked the puzzle but the flip-flopping on how to apply the theme-picture connection was frustrating. Some times the theme was part of the picture and some times it was added to the picture. Over all, good fun again though.

The thing is, [40], the inconsistency doesn't feel like an "increase in difficulty", it feels like an inelegance, as if you just couldn't really get it all to work right. Inconsistency is one of my least favorite forms of inelegance.

[39] If I were going up against Franz Ferdinand and he was trying to "Take Me Out", it's what he "just" is (other than being "a shot away from you"...)
13 was the last clue I got as well...

13 wasn't too much of a problem for me, but totally lost (having solved the puzzle) how one comes up with 19, other than the intersects and the theme.
Is this a tv show reference that I've missed? (as usual - never watch it)

[44] you would really only know it if you had seen the movie it came from. you have *NOT* seen the movie then back slowly out of the room because it is probably one of the funniest movies made.
