Wow. That was sad . . . and a little scary. Bet the guy wishes he could have lived through it in time-lapse!

I was stuck in an elevator recently with one other person. The worst of it was that it kept moving up and down from floor to floor yet the doors would never open! I think that was scarier than an elevator stuck in one position. The good news is that it was only about 10 minutes and then they got us out of there!

Heh, I like that that article confirms my belief that the "Door Close" button does nothing on most elevators these days. I admit I sometimes feel that way about the F5 key come puzzletime...
