Headlamps work great on bicycles if you can work them onto your helmet somehow. It's nice to have light available in whatever direction you happen to be looking. I use them in addition to my handlebar light. I'm going to remove the straps and see if I can mount one (or two) on mine.
I bought three sets of two - and they are actually going to be used for what the description states, disc (Frisbee) golf :) I'm just going to use them for my merch tables at my disc golf tournaments if we run a little late and people have to shop in the dark. It also helps for loading up if it starts getting a little dark. I have a light that attaches to the bill of my cap, but I think these will work better!
Maybe I'm confused here, but I only received ONE (1) Headlamp in the small Tanga box which arrived today. Even though I was only: 'in for one,' I think I should've received TWO (2) lamps.
The second one that arrived at my house was messed up. The battery compartment thing didn't sit correctly on the connectors so the lamp wouldn't stay on and the battery compartment door wouldn't close. I tried just about everything to make it fit properly. Finally I taped the compartment in and held the door closed with tape. Something happened and the plastic housing around the batteries melted and nearly caught on fire. Needless to say if I can't fix it again I will have to throw it out, and to think the first one I received works just fine.

I really wish Tanga had an overnight shipping alternative. I could really use these this weekend. Oh well in for one.

There are very few times I would need this, but those times are worth it!

I bought these one other time when they were offered and they are really cool. They are great when you need both hands to do something, in the dark.
I am thinking about getting a couple more for gifts.

I ride my bike everywhere and the light mounted on the handlebars died on me.
Don't mind looking even more dweebish than usual if I can see and be seen at night.

slag-it! I bought a pair of krypton lamps (nonhead model) last time. Still don't know where I put them!

The more I look at it the more it looks like a thong.

Anybody else have a similar experience?

Got mine today. I ordered 2 (of 2 each), and received two lamps. Seems wrong to me, I should have received 4 total.
On a related note, the packaging says batteries are included - but, no batteries. Anyone get batteries?

Re: the batteries, while the packaging says yes, the deal description says no. So, never mind.
