hmmm. mixed feelings about this puzzle. i liked the method, excpet for the part of taking the next one over. i dont really get how that is realated to "last but not least." i thought that if last wasnt the least it would just be left out.
I'm getting something that might be a second step instruction, but it has a weird letter and I have no idea what to do with it now. Bleah. Hoping for the post-and-aha!
I have to disagree with [1], [3], [5], and [8]..... IMO this just wasn't the usual Murdoctor quality puzzle. If you "follow the directions" you would skip the "least", not take something different.
[32] Thanks that was enough salt to find the hidden second step. To be honest that was going to be my next leap (and should have been my first leap, but logically I agree it didn't seem to suggest a replacement)
I thought maybe I should take the last letter of each word and move the tanga number up by one for the letter. D becomes E etc., but that gets me nowhere. I'm pretty lost on this one.

[6] Re-read the very first line, then apply it to the rest of the text.

[11] Well, there are no graphics, so how could you have a last and/or a least?

Ok, directions say, LAST BUT NOT LEAST.
So take the last letter, unless it comes first in the alphabet of all the letters in the word (not least).

I guess I need a TG, too. Nothing I've tried has worked.

[25] No second step. The correct method should give you the answer.

no second step from a word, but i sort of agree with [23] - there is at least one red herring.

I think the clue/instruction phrase was rather ambiguous, but now I have it. That was sure some salty salt that's now gone.

You also skip "I said" for no apparent reason
This was not fun and certainly not as logical as a normal murdoctor

The instructions as stated seem to suggest "deny" for the answer (though it isn't)

[32] That's certainly a valid way to interpret the instructions... could have gone either way, I guess.

[38] Ditto. I tried taking all words with only 1 vowel, removing any word with an "e". Got nowhere.
