I remember way back when (although it really seems like a short time ago) when I thought the "Easy" puzzles really were easy. As of late, they stump me as much as or more than the hard ones!
[10]I'm glad somebody can figure it out. I can't seem to get a single letter to match the properties I think I understand are salient. So I'm thinking of bigger units, and not yet finding them. :(
[11] As I said above, I was following the rule. (I no longer am, however, so this post is not salt, but the last one is ALL salt.) The key thing is that there is one word in each line (guess which one it is in line #7)
[12] & [13], I appreciate the nudges, but they are getting me nowhere, as I have tried the out loud method *several* times--to the point if I'm wondering if dialectical differences are a problem for anyone or more specifically for me--as well as looked at the singleton word on line seven very closely. :( I'll keep looking.
Alright, finally got it. Up until then, I felt kinda mocked, even though y'all were trying to help and it just wasn't getting through to me It's truly one of those you don't see it until you see it type puzzles. Then it's bloody obvious.
Though I think it would have been easier if it were constructed without the eight counterexamples, one per line!
alright 96th person to solve I am getting better at being the top 100.
[20] The clapping helped, I added one more clap to the forehead and said duh when I got it. I goes back to elementary school learning.

Got it on a guess, but it does make sense. Some things should stand out.

Finally saw the "odd one out".
The rest was simple.
Gee, now I am following the rule.
How annoying!
Somebody stop me!

I sure did overthink this one.
Now I have figured it out.
I used the easier way
and got the right answer.

You would think with 3 examples (the original plus [10] and [16]) that I would finally get it, but that's not the case.
