[5] My first instinct was not to punctuate. As has been mentioned before, experienced puzzlers will try both, unfortunately, a moment's hesitation on a newly posted Cryptopix will probably cost you at least a few places.

Way to promote the incorrect version of the line! The actual quote (as alluded to by [12]) was made by the witches around the cauldron in Shakespeare's play MacBeth where they were BUBBLING!

the line is correct as written in the cryptopix. The bubbling part comes later.
