This should be easier but I am clueless who that first portrait is of. And for the second pic, are were concerned with the person or the item he is holding? I have been working what I do know through my head but it isn't really turning into anything yet.
I figured he was a president but I just went through a series of portraits of all of the past presidents, he didn't jump out at me. Oh well, I'll just keep looking.

PhantaC... use [3] and check the uniform. Should narrow it down to where you can guess a name, Google Images THAT name and find the exact picture.
Can you get the other three pieces? Just figuring out what the last one was almost gave it to me. Sound out each option for 2 with 3 and 4.
