[7] the numbers are tanga numbers that are used in the puzzles. They should not be used in a Cryptopix. But you take the number and replace it with the letter of the alphabet that would fall on that number if you numbered the letters from 1 to 26.

[14] is exactly right. This is the sort of puzzle the "unfeatured" puzzle is supposed to be. A puzzle that might be a bit rough around the edges, but still (I hope) enjoyable for many folks.

You don't tug on Superman's cape,
You don't spit into the wind,
You don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger,
And you don't mess around with ...
Nope, wait, I got that all wrong. Sorry. Never mind. Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

[5] I solved it and still don't see what the numbers have to do with anything.

[1]: I had to find the cd that I have with that song on it and listen to it. Even if it was misdirection.

[13] I don't think that "numbers in a cryptopix" indicate the moderators are on vacation--just that they felt:
1) The puzzle has a few imperfections, and therefore should not be Featured.
2) Despite those imperfections, many people will enjoy the puzzle, so why not publish it Unfeatured?
