this is the type of puzzle that drives me nuts because my brain gets so confused - I am not good with visualizing things... ugh. Even drawing things out is getting me all mixed up.
Okay, I've Googled "blank dice" and "opposite of Monday," looked up various hand-letterforms in Wikipedia, run the 36 letters shown through an anagram solver... still nothing. A little salt?
Seriously... nice job, dajagr. Like joeyhemlock said.
Mmmm, that was fun. We really enjoyed that one; it's nice to have different mechanics now and then, and this one was a nice blend of brain-twister and simple. The hardest part for us was keeping straight which letter is where. Drawing helped IMMENSELY.
Really neat puzzle. A very good test of spacial perception skills. I'm not sure, though, if I would have been able to figure out all 6 letters -- I was able to guess the final answer after about 3 letters.
a very nice puzzle, simple and complex at once. I got it without any particular mental rotating of the dice by listing the 3-letter sets from the first pic, then those from the second pic, then assigning the ones from the 3rd pic in the only way that accounts for all the letters. That made engineering the dice a lot simpler.
"Salt" is a hint that helps put the puzzle in perspective... Usually they are somewhat obscure hints... It's called Salt because there was a puzzle whose answer was "Salt" and someone posted the answer on the discussion thread accidentally, and since then everyone has referred to helpful hints as "salt."
I don't know that BOGGLE will help with this one.... Everything you need is on the screen.. you just have to be spatially aware (I am not at all - so it took me a while to get it). The good news is once you get a few of the letters you can make a good guess as to the answer.
I think what was perhaps the best part of this puzzle was the fact that the solving method was relatively easy to figure out, but the answer still took a lot of spacial awareness, so it took some brain power. It is nice to have a puzzle that you can look at and immediately realize you know how to go about solving it (even if you aren't great at the particular solving method, as was the case for me with this one). It still took me some time, but at least I can say that I was able to do it without any salt.
The silly thing was, I had the answer after about eight minutes, but tried the answer's opposite and went back to the drawing board. Another fifteen minutes later, I said, 'why not try the answer I have?'
So yeah, there's some salt - the answer IS the opposite of Monday. It's not the opposite of the opposite of Monday.

5th ain't bad! As much as I complain, it's mostly because I stink at puzzles which aren't in my wheelhouse.

13 minutes after solving two letters and guessing the rest. This is fun, but my eyes need a break after the last two nights!

I also solved after getting two letters. Got the first two and then guessed based on the clue. Ha. Cute answer.

Solved it, but there are duplicate letters, right?

[18] Yep. 6 dice, 6 sides = 36 letters. I had to use some duplicates. (The dice are still sitting here in front of my computer, in fact.)

EXCELLENT puzzle. Everything needed is in the puzzle, and it's still a challenge without a ridiculous solution method.

Very nice puzzle. My leetle grey cells were challenged, but not so much that I had to resort to salt. That was fun!

Woot! This one was a joy to work through since the answer was right there.
I'm glad that I'm good as spatializing and basically built a bunch of unfolded images in my head.
Being a cheap board gamer, I've seen enough of these:
.X
XXXX
..X
And these:
.X
XXXX
.X
And even a:
X
XX
.XX
..X

Also got it (at 3 min, 10 sec) with two of the letters. Which is good for me, because I have terrible spacial perceptions. But a nice puzzle.
