[1] Thanks for pointing out the error! My suggestion for people trying to solve this is to ignore the dots on each picture until the very end (after you have extracted letters) . . . their only purpose is to partly compensate for the Totally Annoying Needless GA that, as [1] correctly suggests, could have been avoided!
I love this movie, and still I am having trouble with it. Am I including The as part of the character's name? Should I include the descriptive part or just the first name (as in the Billy Crystal character)?
Rather than just correct the single error pointed out in [1], I went ahead and took the liberty of completely removing the need for anagramming as well.
Having come in late, after CWarrior changed things arround, I like it. It helps of course that, as for many of you, this is one of my favorite movies. But as the puzzle stands now, fun one!

This is quite complex -- in fact, needlessly so. It requires gratuitous anagramming that could have been avoided.
Also, there's an error in the puzzle. The last row of numbers in the lower right should instead be <edit>.
I was the sixth person to solve this. How did the first several people solve it without noticing the error?
EDIT: The constructor has corrected the error and has also redone the puzzle to eliminate the anagramming! So the puzzle as you now see it is correct.

This seems to be the poster child for Leadfoot's 'Top Reasons submitted Puzzles are Rejected":

That said, I solved it and didn't mind all the rule breaking.....maybe because I like the movie! :)

[4] Do NOT include "the" and DO include the descriptor.

I got to admit ... this isn't a good puzzle. I had an idea, but spent waaaay to much getting good screen caps rather than making the puzzle work.
Still, you got to admit ... the screen caps are quite good.

I do love the movie ....

[8] Much nicer that way.
And I do love the movie (and the book) as well. Pity it wasn't mentioned in the recent book-to-film random question.

I got a phrase but don't know what it refers to.
Edit: I got it. I thought I already tried that in fact it was my first guess.
