I had a phrase had over 400 google hits (not a ton, but hey ... it's a legit phrase). When it didn't take (repeatedly ... go figure), I finally started trying other words in the four spot.
Don't try to identify #4 as a person. I thought my reposing male bovine was it ... it wasn't.
Got it from the first picture. :) That never happens.
[4] I think I know what you're referring to, and it sounds the motto of a British military unit that slips my mind. But I heard the version in the solution first. Maybe something about growing up in the south.

? I think I know what it is but I can't get it to take...I don't think I fat-fingered anything...

Ah...just a different translation of the latin from the phrase I'm familiar with. Makes sense with the pictures. Nice puzzle. Thanks.

The last word is NOT "bold". That's the way I've heard it, too...

Never heard of the phrase either. Not too hard to get it.
For those struggling, a certain baseball team would work for the last pic.

I've always heard this quote (and agree with it more) when it ends boldly.

[15] It could be regional, I suppose. I just know that the version I'm familiar with has over twice as many Google hits as the other one.
