[3] I should say...the orignal explanation was inconsistent while the solve method is logical and consistent.
Looks like it has been fixed now.

[5][6] The only colours missing from the palette are Red and Cyan. The first step is how might you represent the limited palette.

I thought I knew where to go, but I seem to be floundering. (not salt) Perhaps it's because I _hated_ Color Theory...

By triplets, I meant the 3 component colors (use the model used for TV sets).
Represent each color square in the puzzle using 3 bits.
