Nice! Good puzzle cwsterling!

OK, I know all the pictures, at least I think I do, but am not getting it. Tried initials only, etc. as well...

Small sprinkling of Salt?

Who is the guy?

what's the first picture?

I see two solves....anyone able to help on the two mechanical objects? they are too obscure for me.

The second one looks like a straight key to me

[3] I suspect the guy is more about what he is screaming than who he is...It is from the second movie in the series.

3rd pic looks like a clay pigeon launcher for skeet shooting. But I still got nothing.

Thought the last pic was a cow, boy am I feeling sheepish!

thank you [10]

[10] That got it for me!

Salt on the actor or movie?

I've started a collaboration for this puzzle at BGG...

help!

Updated pb!

Wow! Without the salt I would never have gotten it. Some rather obscure pics to use. Geesh.

wow! fun puzzle I finally got it. I broke the final frontier of a top ten solve.

salt...
4th picture is movie related.
5th picture contains 2 syllables.

If I didn't get help with the first and fourth pictures, I would never have figured it out

Finally got it! 22nd- a personal best.

got it - 24th - never been this high before - the second to last syllable is what got me.

cwsterling, as much as I like your puzzle, I can never forgive the Klingons for the death of my boy.

33rd...Thanks leadfoot and those that posted on BBG...would have not gotten it otherwise.

sweet, 38th - i love that these are being posted at random times now!

thanks to everyone's help or i would have never figured it out :)

Yay random post times! Much fairer for different time zones.

I am glad people are enjoying my puzzle. 1st one published!

The third picture is on its side. turn it counter clockwise 90 degrees.

???

[10] was all I needed. The 4th pics probably should have been Ricardo, but that would have made it easier.

LOL - top 100!!! THANKS [29] and [10]

WOO-HOO! Squeaked in at 99! LOL

Bah, 101st!

that was tough

nice salt [10]

[22] It's in Klingon?

i have no idea where to begin

What's the third picture?

#3 picture is definitely harder than it needs to be. I knew what it was but decided to skip it because didn't know the context it was being used. Figured it out and without it.

got it from the first three

huh?

Press Annie Crank Screams Cow

ouch. Just ouch.

cwsterling

Very good first published puzzle - I think you've gotten your 15 minutes now :-)

The two identical pics are definitely misleading ... it would be like having two pictures of King George III and the answer being "Washington."

ha ha.

[41] not a cow, or a crank for that matter. What is the guy screaming? and how were we supposed to know what he animal at the end was made of?

..burried alliiiiiive....

[46] I echo 46, a can and then the sign would have steered me right.

Ha! Excellent answer :)

[44] this is a little different than the king george / washington example because the guy in the puzzle, in that exact shot from the movie, is screaming the word you need.

and it's a VERY famous moment from the movie, even for folks who've only seen it parodied. it's more like having a shot of marlon brando from streetcar, and having the clue be "stella".

When was this puzzle posted? I see comments from 11 hours ago, but the "normal" puzzle posting time was only 2 hours ago. Do I need to start looking in the middle of the day for new puzzles?

Not very good. Way too much of a stretch.

the code will help you identify #3 if you are crying SOS

WAAYYY too much of a stretch - that last word, How do I know what's it's made of? Green Cheese?
better think of a man in a striped suit . . .

Didn't like it. Clues too far of a reach.

Press annie telegraph khan sheep...for some reason this wasn't the accepted answer

Waaay to small of a photo and virtually no context to help you find out who it is. If you don't know who it is, then it is impossible to find out entirely on your own.

Not only that ... but, suppose you do figure out who it is, you still don't have the word(s) you need. There's nothing to indicate you need the word he's uttering at that exact moment.

How could this have been avoided? A word balloon would have helped. And let us know where the picture was taken ... show more of the screen cap.

Thanks [41]!

I had no clue what the cartoon pic was until that.

seems to me, that if you're sitting at your computer (which you are) and you muddle your way through the first two clues and get "press annie"... that might be enough to help you to the rest of the phrase right there.

y'know?

Was there a visual clue to what the items are made of?

It is difficult to know what the 5th is made of an intervening man, can, star might have done it. What a trek from press to the end

Wow ... that was really obscure. Hard to believe it earned even two stars for "Fun".

Ah, once I got the first 3 words I just guessed and it worked

That last clue was tough! How would you know it had to do with what it was made of??
I liked the star trek reference though!

The last two images are very smart.

please!!! some salt on the sheep...
