OK, don;t know if it is part of the puzzle or I am reading too much in to it, but it says those are odd Bib numbers and every single one of them is Even!
Hey - Sorry I wasn't around much for this puzzle - But please don't hesitate to send a Tangagram my way if you want a little shove down the hill.
As for Ref's comments [20] - yes I'm a detailer, but I wouldn't say everything Always means something. I originally had finish times and some more details in this as well - and figured everyone would get out their Rocketeer voodoo doll and put it to me!
Hmm... not too late to come up with a Summer Olympics one... ;)

A cool puzzle for a hot summer eve - but then again I'm biased. Enjoy.

It looks like Canada is kicking ass, but where are the other countries?

[4] Just head right down from top to bottom, (don't forget what team you're on!) and you'll shuss past the finish line in no time!

I'm lost. I just spent 15 minutes trying to find a list of Canadian Olympics skiers, but based on [5] I think I'm overcomplicating it.

Do the colors have anything to do with the solution?

[8] You are. First get the bib numbers. Then see what they might correspond to about the theme.

[9] yes and no. The colors signify which team the skier is on. Never mix your teams.

Fun. Glad I have a good anagram solver, though.

The names are hilarious, how creative, I am thoroughly impressed. Great puzzle once I quit running down rabbit trails.

[15] Why? If you kept your teams separated from each other, it should have been pretty easy without an anagram solver.

[19] Never underestimate a Rocketeer puzzle! Everything means something. Nothing is ever put in the puzzle without a purpose.

I figured out what the bib numbers refer to, but I can't figure out what to do with that info.
