For the second picture, you have to pronounce the two-letter acronym like a word.
For the last picture, the activity pictured has been made illegal.

There's a background. That might help. I got it exclusively from that, actually, didn't get how the clues put it together until I saw the answer. It made sense then, I was just dumb.

[5] Indeed. The background gave it to me instantly.

[5][6] Thank you. I wasn't getting anywhere by putting the picture clues together. That did it for me.

[5] [6] The background helped me as well. The pieces were forming the puzzle but it all came together after looking at the background picture.

Thank goodness for the background. I kept trying to use "NO" with the last picture, not the word that was needed.

I have to admit that this puzzle sucks. But I figured plenty of other people get crappy puzzles published so why not me too. :)

For some reason I can rarely see the background pictures. That often seems to be a real disadvantage. (And, no, I haven't figured this one out yet.)

Is there an adjective missing?? I always knew this a little differently...

perhaps. If you normally use the preposition, "in"... change it to something else.
(p.s. I thought it was very creative and fun, monocle)

[13] I often do not notice them either.. but most of the times they are just washed out so much I need to tilt my display to see them.
[14] depends on how you define "missing"... I've heard it both ways... perhaps because it was said so many different times.

Hah!
1) the answer should end with a question mark? like this?
2) the answer should begin with the word 'this'.
