all of these work either with singular or plural of the source words, except... the last one only works as singular... that hung me up a bit

[21] Yeah, struggled with how I was going to present that one but figured seeing the inside was necesseary for an ID (or at least to prevent false IDs).

I wish I understood the lime reference. But it just wouldn't work for this puzzle anyway.

I must be out of practice. I had no problems identifying the green fruit, but I'm having no luck finding the answer to the puzzle!
