any salt on the spellings for the endings, and are they all spelled the same way? ie ey ee y??? can't figure out the right combination

They are not all the same. The one that is probably throwing you is the first word of the second line. That is ey

Actually, they are all "y" added onto the end of the normal word.

[8] darn that Google... I rely on it to correct things like that. there is to much misinformation out there these days. great puzzle though.

At least one of those words is spelled 100% incorrect in the puzzle. :-( A few others have multiple spellings, but it makes it so hard when a word is just wrong!

cool puzzle idea, but too many possible spellings of the solution. This is a nice, illustrative example for puzzle makers honing their craft.
It's annoying for solvers to have to type in multiple permutations of potential spellings of words that don't really exist.

[16] Before you criticize puzzlemakers' skills, try creating one for yourself. If not for them, you'd have nothing to solve (or complain about).
