I got the words, and see how they interact with the obvious "answer". But I'm not sure how to merge all that together to get an answer.
But then I have the 4th and 5th answers that don't fit that, but are related. I tried exploiting that type of relationship with the other answers, but didn't get much out of it.

If you're seeing red everywhere you look, you may want to try counting to ten, and trying again.

I just kept catching fish last night, and gave up on it. Finally saw it with a fresh perspective this morning.
Wow, that was painfully clever.

[7] Still don't have it...
This is resulting into a guessing game, it's not the background, the numbers, the blanks....
It's not fake, false, herring, ....

[29] Apply your "obvious answer" with the title, and what do you have left?
[31] You are right about the background. I considered the blanks to represent the answers, so you are right about them too...
