I tried to start with "G", which was wrong, but it lead me to notice some interesting properties of the hands. A paint program was helpful though not strictly necessary.

40 points...WOW this far into the day and it still hasn't reached 100 solves. I Never manage to do these but the comments were just enough to put me over the edge. [8] [13] were the real clues I needed. thanks a bunch for the help.

"Where Do I Start" is often needed to know,
This puzzle technically has two starts - high and low.
...
And when I STARTED to make this, my INITIAL thoughts were...
