with different spellings, several punctuations that may or may not be there and no way to know how far to take the "...", there are just too many possible "correct" answers.
Why would you need punctuation? You just need to fill in the dots. For all of you that are complaining it is more likely that are just putting in the wrong answer.
Good puzzle. Pretty easy if you have heard this one.
I assume it was done this way because the alternative was much longer. We've had this sort of puzzle before, but the ellipsis at the end doesn't seem to be enough of clue. Maybe three blanks would have been better.
Excellent puzzle steph_frolin. Very well clued, and the ellipsis at the end provided just what I needed to solve this in 17 seconds. Not the traditional crypto, but fun none the less!
I think we've been through this with the multi-word wonders: sometimes puzzle makers want to try something new and don't want to be constrained by old conventions. I, for one, welcome our new puzzle masters.
Probably should have gone with 3 blanks at the end though.
[46] I don't mind when people do something different, so long as it's obvious what that something different is. I tried umpteen variants of the whole rhyme before finally catching in that it was just the missing words.

Punctuation or no? I know it, but I can't get any version to take.

i hate these where they are obvious but it's either a spelling problem or punctuation.

It *should* have an e, but who the hell knows, clearly there's something odd about the answer.
