First off, Luigi as the Queen to Mario is hilarious! Almost everyone that visits my office liked it. Some mentioned that it would be a good gift for family/friends. The quality is really nice. But keep in mind there were some art changes notably Mario/Luigi's noses are long for some reason. But that design grew on me. Also, when play chess alot, I haven't had anyone wanting to play so idk how easy it will be to remember the pieces during a match

This set is adorable and my son loves it! I'm glad they have each piece labeled. He's joined a chess club and is learning so much and this set makes it extra fun for him! Great quality for the price, I'm sure it will get lots of use and still hold up!
