I love this weighted blanket. I usually toss and turn in my sleep or take a while to fall asleep and this really helps fix those issues. I fall asleep within minutes of getting under this blanket, like I actually have to fight to stay awake and I don't seem to move around much in my sleep. The squared sections of the blankets make sure that the weighted beads stay evenly distributed. It also doesn't get overheated, I sleep with this over top of my regular duvet. I would suggest buying a separate blanket if you want one for lounging on your couch as well, it is an awkward item to carry from room to room.Would absolutely recommend this item, feels like a full body hug. Purchased for my husband who likes a weighted feel when sleeping. This was better than ordering a heavier duvet because he can easily use wrapped around him when sat in recliner. He has health problems so rest is important and he absolutely loves the blanket. I’ve put an old double duvet cover to help protect, it’s not a perfect fit but does the job. Recently went away and didn’t take the blanket…..it was the first thing he went for on return to rest up. We are now aiming to buy a smaller version that we can take away with us in the future. I have a weighted blanket at home that my parents got me and I wanted one I could use at my boyfriend's place. I got this one, mostly for the price. It's nice for what you pay for and does deserve 5 stars considering the price, but you shouldn't expect a $200 weighted blanket quality as it is not. The beads are a bit noisier than they are in my other blanket and I can feel them more than with my other one. The fabric of the blanket is not extremely soft, but I know there are covers you can put over them. I just use the sheet between me and the blanket.Otherwise, it does the job! It really is heavy and helps me sleep easier. The twin is a good size if your partner is not a fan of having something heavy on them while they sleep. I do recommend that blanket, but if you want better quality, you should definitely look for a higher priced one. Read more

the blanket was true to weight, it’s very heavy to pick up and carry around but its not much of an issue. The weight is perfect and has a snug and secure feel all over, it also doesn’t get overly hot despite it being heavy. Moreover, it’s not soft, but it’s not rough. It’s a smooth feel.
