This bedspread is exactly what I wanted to replace an old one no longer available. I have an extra thick queen mattress so I thought about buying a king to be sure it was big enough, but the double/queen was perfect (I have a bed skirt on the bed that shows about 3-4 inches at the bottom... Perfect!) I love the thick, lush quality, too! Very happy with this purchase!

Quilts typically work a little different than comforters. If you want your bedspread to hit the floor and act like a bed skirt you will have to SIZE UP. I have a queen bed and ordered the king set and it hits the floor exactly like the photo, which is what I expected. Very happy. Ordered it in white and it's true white. Super silly and soft.
