I have been with Turbotax, and then to accountant, and now moved back to Turbotax 2 yrs back. I just love how simple it is to import data directly from institutions. Extra checks in TT makes sure the data is correct or flag when imported data doesn't smell right! Love it!!

I had a very helpful person on the phone. She guided me for every question I had. Was patient while I worked on my turbo. She was also very friendly.

Taxes drive me crazy, but TurboTax makes it bearable... barely...

I've been using TT for more than a decade-- from ez filer to Business Owner...This is how taxes get done! Simple enough for non-financial people, but robust enough for professionals --- forever a fan!

TT is a great combination of easy-to-use user interface and very comprehensive tax support. The behind-the-scenes supporting forms provide all the required info to understand how TT did its calcs. An amazing financial tool, no matter the level of complexity of return! This year, one apparent glitch....I entered TT this year wanting to explore how to file an extension, if it turned out that I could not complete my returns by the deadline. I decided to go ahead and initiate my federal return from that extension screen, rather than file for the extension, because my return is complex enough that I didn't have a good way to estimate the tax due without completing the return. When I initiated my federal return from the extension screen, I realized too late in the data entry process that TT had not asked me if I wanted to bring in information from last year's return. It was not obvious to me how to import information from last year's return from that extension screen, or if there was any way to access that info throughout the process after I had already initiated a return, without potentially losing all that I had already typed in. Therefore, I was forced this year to use TT as if I were a first-time user, typing in much info that was almost identical to last year's info. It might have been nice to have two features (perhaps in my haste, I just missed them?)--(a) ask me from the extension screen, when I opted to continue with initiating a return, if I wanted to import info from last year's return; (b) perhaps on all the screens that allow importing info from an outside source, perhaps also provide the option to import relevant financial institution info, charitable organization info, etc. from last year's return.....? Thanks for a great program--makes doing one's taxes (almost) an enjoyable process!! :)

I still rated the tax program with five stars due to the need for accuracy. But sometimes annoyed with the repetition. I have used TurboTax for more than five years and have not heard of a similar type software with the accuracy of TurboTax. I will probably use it again next year.
