I was surprised that these had some weight to them, not a cheap plastic but all metal. Up close you can see where they screw together but honestly if you are looking for cheap rods, these are the best I have seen. A clean modern look. Read more

Great length that's easily adjustable, strong, great high quality material, and very secure. Comes with all hardware needed. I purchased the black and love the color. The color is matte black just as pictured and very nicely pigmented. I use mine outdoors and the color is still the same as it was brand new. The end caps do not have a rubber no slip texture to them so they could slide if pulled on and/or cause damage to your wall if you attempt to tighten it so that it won't slide. You don't want to tighen the rod or any rod really tight as that can cause puncture(s) to your wall either while tightening or over time due to pressure, wall settling, steam, etc. I went ahead and purchased the wall nanny baby gate wall cup (comes in a pack of 4 for only a few bucks) to put at each end of mine ensuring punctures and sliding doesn't happen. Overall this is a really great high quality rod. I do highly recommend it. Read more
