Perfect size for a decorative finish on the backs of chairs

This is nice and soft for our dog and he sends to love laying on it, I thought it would be bigger but should have looked at the dimensions better. Looks super cozy for our dog. We use it on the arm of our couch where he rests his head.

It seems a little smaller than expected by the item photo but I guess that pillow in the pic is pretty small. I got it when it was $9 off (was $30 at full price) and I'm not decided yet about keeping it. It seems a little too small to use as a blanket but could be a perfect backdrop for review pics of other items. It feels almost like a real pelt, somewhat like faux suede on back and the thick fur is not the softest, but not bristly or rough exactly, just not as soft as say petting a cat or a bunny. I was hoping it would be a bit softer.
