I love this fan! I sleep hot and have to have that noise for me to fall asleep so the noise for me isn’t an issue at all. They’re louder fans out that don’t cook nearly as well as this on. The only thing that bothers me is the light but I put some electrical tape on the face on it and called it a day.

The fan is very quiet on the low mode and still unobtrusive on the high mode. I have it in an apartment and even on the middle speed, can feel the breeze across the living room.The blue power LED is very bright. I stuck some tape over it to bring it down to a reasonable brightness. The beeping when changing any setting or turning it on/off is quite loud. I’m not sure what to do about that besides opening it up and disabling the beeper, so I dinged one point on the noise score for that.Assembly is very easy if you first put the plastic strip on (that has two grooves to hold the two grilles together) at half tightness onto the fan part, then snap the cover into it and then fully tighten it. If you try to hold the two grilles aligned and then tighten the strip around them, you will get frustrated.
