Skate is a bit on heavy side and braking is not easy to apply. The ride is smooth and shouldn't have too many problems as long as you don't speed.

Bought these for my skateboarder son who also liked inline skating... but he thought they were more difficult to use and not as controllable. I now use them and find them enjoyable since I don't have to change out of the shoes I like to wear.
