Now way to change many settings. It has a nice backlight to be able to see in the night. I tried with pushing the device to my head and away a little and it was the same temp. Pretty cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a CNA and got this to use on my patients and I'm so glad I did! It has the option of using it no touch or forehead. The no touch is perfect for me, it allows me to take their temperature without waking them up. I also use the forehead method sometimes and it is easily cleaned between each patient with an alcohol wipe. It is very accurate and is very quick. Perfect for at home use or in the health care setting. It is also light weight but very well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer fits nicely in my hand and is easy to use. It allows me to easily check my child’s temperature while he’s sleeping. After removing the plastic cap it only takes a few seconds to get a reading from when I turn it on and then pressing another button with the thermometer picture. The confirmation beep it makes when it’s done taking the reading is not loud and never woke up my son, though I think it would be nice to be able to have the option to mute the sound. I read the manual and like that the background will change color according to the temperature. My son didn’t have a fever at the time I was testing him and the screen was green. I think having the color display is a nice feature. This product would make a nice baby shower gift for an expectant mom.

The easy on and off switch and use of AAA batteries is awesome. So frequently it is frustrating trying to find the button cell type. These are common batteries people have at home. Easy installation and well made. I can see this lasting a long time. Very easy to use.

The thermometer is easy & convenient to use. To use, press the power button and then the thermometer button. Results are ready within seconds. The thermometer will beep when the results are done or you can mute the sound (so you don’t wake the child). Very convenient to store when not in use. Included is a cover for the unit. This thermometer can be used on anyone of any age. I use this on my kids ages 8 & 11 and I hold it about an inch or so away or can be used directly touching the forehead.
