I ordered and installed a dozen of these around my house. They work fine for ambience only; I was hoping for more brightness, sort-of security lighting. However, for the price I thought they were a good buy. Lately I noticed that only a few light at night, even if the sun was strong all day. They are about a year old now. Either the LED is bad or the rechargeable batteries need to be replaced. For some reason I thought the batteries would last longer. When I find batteries on sale I will replace them on a few lights and see if that is the problem. unfortunately they are over $1 each.

I literally did not know LEDs could produce such a low light level. Given that, one would assume they would at least stay on all night... nope 2 hours tops.
