The lamp may be made of plastic, but it's sturdy & does work exactly as described. The phone charger floored me. Our $42,000 car has a little shelf to charge phones. As I have a ring there to put my finger through to secure my phone in my hand, it will not charge my phone. But this little lamp/phone charger will! I'm very pleased! Well worth the money.
