The old vacuum i had was from the 90's and was on its last leg. I have a dog and i needed a vacuum that is strong enough to pick up pet hair, and it is. Its not noisey, its light and easy to push around. I definitely recommend it.

I had to replace my broken shark. I wasn't thrilled with my previous vacuum cleaner. This one has a much longer cord. And the suction is fantastic. It is a really affordable vacuum also. I put it together quickly. My only complaint is the hose. It is short, like most vacuums I've had.
