He liked the look of the shoestrings and the way they tied. He also said the sole was really nice and thick. They were a tad heavy but not awful. If you're on the fence just get these amazing shoes. The best part about these boots is that they are water resistant. These are perfect for any outing when the snow, rain, and wet conditions set in. Not sure if water resistant means it will keep your feet from getting wet during the worst. These would be good for outdoor hiking or work, but also a nicer dress up pair of boots for a night out. These boots felt very heavy duty and would be comfortable during any weather conditions, all 4 seasons! Nice boot and will replace my current pair of outdoor hiking boots. It fitted on me, i walked a lot with them, i nver felt uncomfortable

They are made out of a canvas and rubber material that made them comfortable to put on and walk around in. The boots laces up and towards the top, the laces went around hooks. The canvas is pretty thick, so I’m sure they will last long. Good material and ankle support. The boots would be great for hiking or working outdoors.
