I was hesitant after reading the reviews, but I quickly found what probably was many peoples problem: the base. You can add sand or water into the holes of the base (as it is designed for) to add weight. As soon as I filled the base COMPLETELY with water (not half, not 3/4; fully) it stopped moving as much. The bag itself and the spring still have some movement, but personally I like having the little bit of bounce as it adds to the rhythm. Definitely a nice bag for the budget, would recommend.
