Says new but it was an open ripped box taped shut and there was hair in it so used. It does work so 2 stars instead of one but no where does it say used on this site.

Box came broken and torn. There was hair in the brush of the iron. Did I miss the fine print about your merchandise being beat up and used for a great discount? It's supposed to be a Christmas gift. I do have photos, if needed.

I have thick, wavy shoulder length hair. I wasn't sure what to expect with this product because I've always been warned about straightening wet hair, but I wanted to give this a chance. I was pleasantly surprised and this is part of my daily routine now. I used this in two ways, the first was out of the shower after rough drying my hair with a blow dryer. I worked through all the settings and tried different sizes of pieces of hair, and this tool is truly user friendly. There is no bad setting. The second way I used it was the more frequent option for me. I have a busy morning schedule, so I don't often have time to style my hair but this gave me the option of quickly straightening my hair before running out for the day. It felt great to have the option to look more polished than I usually do with only a few minutes spent. The fact that it doesn't stay hot once you let go of the tool helps me feel at ease using it while I'm handling other tasks in the morning. I have begun to style my hair more often because this tool is so quick and painless to use, and that's been an unexpected change. I am some what of a minimalist when it comes to hair styling products. I have the basics and am one to do my hair each day, but has a mamma of 5, I needed something to simplify my hair process. In steps this little baby. The Revlon one step does exact what the name says. It is one step that does everything that I need. There is a blow dry function, a cool air function, a heat and blow dry/heat/straight function (AT THE SAME TIME!!) And a heat function. I mostly use the blow dry and heat/straight function at the same time. It makes my hair feel amazing! It is like a fresh blowout each day. It heats nearly instantly, is low noise and works quickly. I have thick hair that comes just past my shoulders and I can do my hair in about 5 minutes. I take sections that are about 1 inch wide and get to work. Be sure your hair isn't super wet. This won't work wellb for super soaked hair. Damp is okay but towel dry is better. Dry hair works awesome.Then section. Be sure to brush your hair throughly before you start, to eliminate tangles and issues. I also like the lock feature. This allows me to lock it closed for storage or travel. This has traveled with me and take the place of multiple tools. If you are looking for beautiful hair, simplicity, minimalism and ease, look no further. This is for you. Truly great for those busy mornings when you are juggling a bunch of things but also needed to shower and do your hair and and and while it was not the straightest I've ever gotten my hair, it did an incredible job of taking damp post-shower curly hair and getting it dry and straight within fifteen minutes. All while I was also managing to get two toddlers ready and out the door! On the second go-round of using it, I had already gotten better at using it & had a better straightening experience. Highly recommend if you want to save time in the morning and are ok with it not being perfectly pin-straight! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but I would absolutely buy it for those busy mornings with young kids.
