This is an inexpensive way to keep your fingers intact when trying to slice onions and tomatoes. I was looking for one of these and found this set that was very reasonably priced and just what I needed. Although it is plastic and I'm sure will break at some point, getting two of them for this price makes it a steal!

I saw the comment about the small size and flimsiness of this product but decided to try it anyway. It is too small for even an average size onion, but with a great deal of maneuvering, can be used to make slicing one at least a little easier than if it were not being used. I haven't tried it with anything else yet, but it is too flexible and small to be of much use in slicing veggies. No, I wouldn't buy it again, or recommend it to a friend. (If one wanted to try it, I'd probably just give them mine.)

I am rating this a 3 due to the fact of ordering it on 02/27/18 and not receiving it until 03/15/18. 3 weeks later. Not realizing this was being shipped from out of the country. Which is fine, but there should be notification of this. Not sure if I will putchase anything again.
