i was sent the philips sonic care 9500 to review last week.This toothbrush is great. Every time I use it I feel like I just left the dentist. There are several settings to choose from which is nice because they vary in how aggressive they are and their function. The battery has not been an issue as it lasts days without being on the charger and you can`t tell a difference in performance. I would highly recommend this toothbrush.this has been my second philips electric tooth brush and they just get better and this newest one has blue tooth which is great. it also has a nice travel case to take when vacationing .

I have been using electric tooth brushes for quite some time, and I have never ever had one that has worked as well as this Diamond clean brush. I already saw a difference in shade of my teeth within the first brush of using just regular clean. Over the course of a week or so i switched and used all of three brush heads. I used each brush head once a day just to see which felt the most clean. Overall this product really surprised me. I did not expect it to be that much better than any other electric toothbrush but this brush is amazing. I would buy this 10 times out of 10. A few other pros is ease of use, it beeps or changes vibration when to move, I normally have to count it out so i can get a really good clean all around but it really makes it dummy proof. The bristles move so quickly but are very gentle to your teeth and gums. It really makes keeping up with oral care very simple. I was sent a free sample of the brush to use for this review, but without a doubt in my mind i would spend any amount to buy this brush. In a week i feel like i took 10 years of coffee and enamel wear off my teeth.

This is my review of the Philips DiamondClean Smart HX9903/11. I received a promotional sample in exchange for an honest review. This is a very nice toothbrush and is very high tech though the brushing process doesn`t have to be complicated. Turn on the power and brush until the handle automatically turns off. On the other hand, you can choose a specific brushing program (whitening, plaque removal, etc.) by installing the appropriate brush head, watch your brushing progress on the smartphone app in real time, and track your ongoing progress in the app if you like. Included are three different brush heads (each for a different purpose), a travel case, a rinsing glass, and a charger. The glass sits on top of the charger, and the brush handle sits base down for in the glass for charging. The brush handle is easy to hold and feels solid in my hand. After reading the easy to understand manual I installed the smartphone app and put the whitening head on the handle. The heads communicate with the handle so that the settings appropriate to the head are automatically set on the handle, and they are easy to snap onto and remove from the handle. Start the app before you grab the toothbrush and the app shows you where to brush and for how long, and indicates when you are brushing too hard. The brush handle also shows when you brush too hard by flashing an light and vibrating in a special way in case you are not using the smartphone app. The app tracks brushing habits and has a progress indicator to show how far you are in the goal you set. The app also points out areas where you didn`t brush enough and gives you a chance to go over those areas again at the end of the brushing cycle. It`s very easy to learn to brush better by using the app. As a long time Sonicare owner, this toothbrush is better than my old one in cleaning and additional functionality. It is very easy to use, cleans my teeth very well, and is a great tool for improving brushing habits. After brushing my teeth they feel almost like I`ve just come from the dentist. My only complaint is the `loose plastic` buzzing sound that occurs sometimes as I am brushing, which is minor. I will definitely recommend this model to my friends and family.

I've used Philips Sonicare toothbrushes for 12 years and have always been pleased. I`ve been through both lower-end and higher-end models and all of them have performed very well. What I really like about the new DiamondClean Smart HX9903 is the different settings for a particular scenario or personal oral care goal you want to accomplish. There are settings for plaque control, whitening and gum care. My goal is gum care. Compared to previous models I`ve used, there is definitely a difference in the vibration/movement of the brush when using each of the settings, so I am hoping that over time I will see even more improvement in my gum recession with the `Gum Care` setting (although I have had good check ups for years since using Sonicare(s) and I feel I already owe my slowed gum recession to the use of Sonicare products). There are also different brushes to use for each of the goal settings and all are included in box with the product. And, as with all the other Sonicare brushes I`ve used, there are different speed controls on the DiamondClean model. It also comes with an upgraded travel case, much nicer than the ones I`ve previously had. One feature that is new for me with DiamondClean was the fact that the brush works with a downloadable app where you can track your goal progress and also get `warned` when you are applying too much movement while brushing. You score points for progress in the app as you work towards your goal. I think the app is clever and would probably be helpful for Sonicare `newbies,` people who like the added novelty of an app, or those who need or want encouragement and/or motivation to accomplish whichever personal oral care goal that they set. If you have experience with Sonicare products and/or don`t want to have your smart phone on and next to you while brushing your teeth, you might not find the app very palatable. The only thing I don`t really care for with the DiamondClean HX9903 is the charging station. Until now, all of my Sonicare chargers were designed where you just stand the brush up straight in a small, base charger until it was fully charged. With the DiamondClean model, there is a charger, but there is also a square glass (almost like a highball drinking glass) that you have to put onto the charger, and then put the handle into the glass to charge. The handle must then lean to the side in the glass and will not stand up straight. This set-up takes up a lot more room on my bathroom countertop than all my previous models did. On the other hand, per package instructions, a full charge will last up to 3 weeks, much longer than all of my previous Sonicare models. Also, when you put this charger away, you now have to put away two pieces, including the glass. The glass may be convenient for some, but I already have a glass for the bath/vanity I use that I like. I think the glass was designed as an all-in-one charger/drinking glass combination, but I personally would never use it for that purpose. Overall, I really like the new DiamondClean HX9903 and would recommend it to others. Aside from the charger, it's the best Sonicare product I've owned. I received this product free of charge for providing an open and honest review of it.

This product the sonicare toothbrush was excellent. My dentist had recommended it but I did not listen. Then they sent me one to test out and I am sold on it. My teeth have never been cleaner and it works excellent for sensitive gums like mine are Would definitely recommended the sonicare for everyone

I have just received my free sample of Phillips Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrush and kit. 1st I must say I am already an owner of a more basic Sonicare toothbrush which has made a 180 degree difference in my dental checkups. So to get this beauty in the mail felt like I hit the jackpot. There are so many really cool features. The charging drinking glass - elegant, nice quality (heavy in feel), to charge:just place the handle in the glass and done. The feel of the toothbrush handle is like silk, very elegant design with see through digital display that auto adjusts dependent on which toothbrush you attach. I also have used the app that comes with this kit and it shows me exactly where I have missed, gives me extra time to go back and do more brushing, allows you to design focus areas for brushing and ensures your 2 minutes are being put in. Its like the Disney World version of a toothbrush, it seems Phillips didn't forget anything when it comes to the convenience and luxury in this toothbrush. Any cons, I wouldn't want to travel with the glass charging station and overall its a bit pricey, and I'm not sure how often I will have the app open to connect to the toothbrush after the newness wears off (wish it could be more like fitbit and push updates automatically). Overall a great toothbrush and system. If the price point doesn't scare you, then get it, you wont be disappointed. Sonicare toothbrushes totally makes a difference in tartar and plaque control and have improved my overall dental cleanings and checkups.
