Growing Method:
Step 1 Sow each raspberry seed roughly 2cm deep into small pots filled with garden soil that provides good drainage, preferably not with too much nutrients.
Step 2 Keep lightly moist and place the potted seeds into a dim, cool place preferably indoor or in a greenhouse during winter. At the early stages you just don’t want icy cold with the seed in moist soil.
Step 3 Regular moisten with a spray bottle or a steady hand so that it’s not too wet. When the frost has disappeared or from the start if you are in warmer climate, move the seeds into a partial sun type of arrangement.
Step 4 The seeds should germinate in 4-6 weeks after being placed outdoors. When the seedlings have reached about 3cm tall and start to have some leaves they can be transplanted to a bigger pot or even their final resting place. Their next location should avoid potential water logged areas as Raspberries don’t require a lot of water. Actually, too much water can rot the roots and encourage diseases that can kill the plant.
