I have bought a lot of different ones this works better than move vent clip ones

Looks fine one of the rubber pieces on side came off but, no worry I have some two sided tape to stick it back on. It appears sturdy enough for my semi large phone.

Holds my iPhone 7+, but barely. The cradle could have been bigger. But the suction mount REALLY HOLDS.

I needed something to hold my Smartphone for guidance but didn't want to use the type that blocks the heater vents. This works pretty good for mounting on the dash. The only problem is that it is not happy with the slightly bumpy surface and tends to pop loose at inopportune times. I had to glue one of the foam pads that holds the phone as it came loose soon after using it. Works fine now. The expandable clips hold the phone firmly and it is easy to use.
