When I started trying to get pregnant, I really tried to cut out all major toxins I put on my body and those that are around my food I cook for myself and my family. I went to stainless steel but was not happy with it. I was constantly wanting my old-non stick pans that are SO much easier to use but didn't want the unnecessary toxins that come with them. So I researched and came up with this set. It's been the best purchase I've made in a long time. The set is incredibly heavy duty. You are not sacrificing the quality to get the "toxic free" pans. They are truly non-stick. I had decided if they were not, I would return them as I didn't want to spend more money on pots and pans without them being truly what they claimed. The non-stick I find as well makes cleanup a lot easier. So with a family, I spend less time with a sponge scrubbing. So for me, it's a win-win. Non-stick pans that really make cooking a lot easier. I find with non-stick I'm not constantly having to stir, watch or hover over the pan. It buys you a little time without worrying a stuck on/burnt mess in the bottom of your pan.
