I tried it, it worked ok I went to charge it after it was used, a red light turned on, left it charging for about 5 hrs and the light was still red. I let it charge longer and still no color change. Maybe it is not supposed to change - The instructions do not say anything about a color change when it is fully charged. There are more detailed instructions in Chinese. Also there a separation at the bottom as though something should snap together but it doesn't. Will use it for now but I don't recommend it.
