I live on a farm and we get every sort of insect inside of the house. I have two large zappers that I use- one for the kitchen and one for the mud room but I needed one for my bedroom and I have no working plugs in there. This little marvel being both solar and rechargeable solved my problems for that room. I just charge it up and it gets the few stragglers that escapes the other zappers. It has cleared the room so I can sleep undisturbed. I also love the color changing element but don't use it much. Update:I am updating the review because the company reached out to me and they are improving their quality assurance process. They are making this right with me and I appreciate their willingness to improve. While I am returning the defective product I will reorder this bug zapper.Original review:I opened the package and connected the charging cable, left it to charge overnight. I can’t tell how much of a charge it has but figured overnight should be sufficient. I pressed the on button and the bug zapping portion displayed blue light and I prepared to experience some mosquito zapping. However, less than 5 minutes later it went off. I pressed the start button again and, once more, the zapping portion with the blue light stayed on less than 5 minutes! Even plugged in and charging the bug zapping portion turns off after just minutes. I am returning this unit. Read more
