I have been looking to replace my upright vacuum for some time now. I started looking at canisters because I had thought maybe they will be lighter not only to carry but when pushing across the carpet. Getting older you must think more about these types of things.Honestly out of the box I thought, is this really going to be a good vacuum?!?! But after I put it together, which was quite easy, I got to cleaning. It ran across the carpet and wood floors with ease once I got the adjustments down, both suction and power. It is lightweight and so quiet. Bagless and the debris does not get close to the filter or wrapped up around the filter. Easy one-button push for emptying. The attachments are small, but they work. I can use those in many places. If I need a little extra reach to the ceilings, I can sit this on a piece of furniture and do not have to worry as much about it falling over like an upright vacuum. The buttons to turn it in and off and rewind the cord are huge and easy to use. I love the auto rewind feature. The filters, it has filters for days. All HEPA and washable. Another neat feature is the "parking slot" for the extension wand. All the old canister vacuums I remember, you had to deal with trying to keep that part of the vacuum stood up in a corner or laid on the floor. This is a great addition to the 3-in-1 stick vacuum I just bought. This vac for deeper cleaning and the other for quick jobs.

After years of struggles I have recently decided to ditch the vertical vacuums for this hand held, and it didn't disappoint. It's a bit heavy, but I need the 1200W suction power and the long cord, so I have no complaint. It indeed turned out to be far more effective and efficient: time for pulling out hairs and fibers was eliminated, greater ease getting to the corners and edges, and no more overheating downtime. That being said, I believe the dirt collecting compartment still needs to be improved. It still takes a bit of effort to pull out hairs and fibers from the middle dirt chamber.

Okay, this came highly recommended for people with allergies in a group I belong to. So I ordered it. and OMG, even though we had a Shark, this has more than DOUBLE the suction, and even after freshly vacuuming with the Shark, this lifted out a TON of deep dirt. To a shocking degree...And UNLIKE the shark it doesn't spew the smells through the house as you vacuum (Previously, we had a dog). So, I love the power and the filtration. And then I REALIZED I Should have spare filters. (You never want to wait until you NEED them). And sure enough... NOBODY HAS THEM.There are 2 filters. The manual displays them both as round, even though the exhaust filter is a square. And I CANNOT find them in stock. QUITE annoying. They are not cheap. 2 filters will cost more than 1/3rd the price of the vacuum. One of them should be replaced annually. The foam one can be washed. But the other one you might get a year out of.Hopefully someone will make replacement filters for this, or it will quickly be a bad investment.

This machine is advertised on Amazon as this powerful wonderful life changing machine. In my experience it is a lightweight , light work, aimed at people that really don’t need to vacuum because they have nothing g to do each day so they keep their house immaculate.Suction is almost nonexistent. Troubleshoot says take it apart and clean belt. I tried but no way to get to the belt. No screwdriver worked . Why am I disassembling an electric machine: doesn’t that void the warranty!?!Cleaning it means taking a shower afterward. God help you if you have to go dig around for a part that fell into the trash when emptying out waste container.I tried to have backup filters but cannot find them anywhere for purchase. Yes lots of ‘fits black and decker’ choices but no manufacture accessories thst I could findOh and my favorite frustration. On first use the motor stopped but I was busy and meant to return it but two days later I by chance plugged it back in and it worked again. I was thing ‘great’ it has a overheat button. The stupid thing proceeded to turn itself off over and over and it took three days for it to start again. So less than a month and it has more issues than a 15 year old girl with blue hair . My last canister machine lasted 25 years and this one was having trouble getting through the month .Needless to say I returned it.Seeing both sides I bet this is great for light light light cleaning and messes but I live in Texas country where the dust and cobwebs have their own religion and the vacuum had no power over it .

the "wheels" don't work like they should the base falls over all the time when in use. works fairly well on hardwood floors but the "wheels" on the head collect dirt and hair on them and they stop rolling. the canister blocks up in the center so it doesn't collect in the bottom like it shouldyou have to go over the same place multiple times just to get hair off hard wood floors. when put on high power it pops a 30 amp breaker after 2-3 mins, check the motor and it's hot enough to melt the plastic around it. I have cleaned this thing out and washed the filters still same thing it over heats. not only would I not recommend this but I would tell people to spend the money on a bissell.
