I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE DVRS FOR GIFTS HOWEVER, ONE DID NOT POWER UP AND THE OTHER ONE DOES NOT RECORD. I RETURNED THEM AND REPURCHASED WITHIN 2 WEEKS (BEFORE I EVEN RECEIVED THE CREDIT) AND I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE SECOND SHIPMENT, EVEN THOUGH I ASKED THEM TO CHECK THAT THEY WORK BEFORE SHIPPING.
